Candles, or tealights to be exact. Larger at Flickr.
Things have been hectic recently and I haven't had chance to get out much with the cameras. I have a couple of rolls I need to get developed soon, so there may be some more analogue stuff coming shortly. I haven't updated my Flickr stream in ages. I've got three exams to do by the 14th so I probably won't be posting more than twice a week until then, I'll see how it goes.
Thanks to everyone who has commented recently. I haven't had chance to reply via email but be sure I appreciate your thoughts, as always.
I like the mellow look to this and the close cropping. Oddly, I photographed a tealight earlier today like this because a moth had dropped in and got set like they do in amber! I wish you well with the exams, Cat.
Your close-ups are always so sharp. What lens are you using?
Ooh, I like this a lot. Very nice tonight & DOF. Best of luck with the exams!
I really like the focus on this one, how the empty tealight is all blurred. great crop also... makes for a very moody image.
