We went for a 6 1/2 mile walk yesterday, up lots of hills too. We were very tired at the end of it. Near the beginning we wandered around the grounds of an abandoned biomedical facility. This stange machine was out back. Of course, for the rest of the day I was convinced the reason the building was abandoned was because of some sort of bio-contamination and that we would become inexplicably ill and die within 48 hours. So far I still feel ok, but if I don't post a photo tomorrow ...
*Update* You can now see the machine this came from on Flickr.

  • Great subtle colours, and I really like the DOF. Hope you remain healthy!

  • The question is what was that gauging? And you'll be fine. Besides, the time line for those sorts of things are 36 hours (you forgot the 24 hour incubation period).

  • Great narration! I like this image for the colors and composition... the way the gauge is on a tilt. It adds to the feeling of anxiety, waiting for that dial to start turning.
