• nikon d50 • 60mm f/2.8d af micro-nikkor • 1/160s • f/3.3 • 60mm • iso 200 • flash not fired • Not the best shot in the world, but I was testing the new 60mm f/2.8 micro on Charlie of Doom this morning - you know what it's like; you're sat in front of the computer on a Saturday morning, still in your pjs, you have a sexy new lens you want to try out, so you grab it and shoot whatever is closest :) He was about a foot away from me, if that, and you can see how only the closest hairs on his ears were in focus. The d50 doesn't have dof preview, so i foresee much trial and error. It's all good fun though! |

Still turned out to be a really cool shot. I love the highlights on his, um, I guess you'd call them eyebrow whiskers??
I always do the same thing, as soon as I buy something new for my cam, I test it on my pets ;)
